Irina Batova - painter, applied artist
(b. 1965 in Fergana, Uzbekistan)
1983 graduated from Fergana College of Arts
1988 graduated from Tashkent Institute of Performing and Fine
Arts
Since 1999 Irina is a member of the Uzbekistan Academy of Arts
Since 1991 participated in many national and international
exhibitions of fine and applied art.
Her paintings are exhibited in the Center of Modern Arts in
Tashkent, Atrium Art Gallery in Moscow and many private collections.
Irina's art includes easel painting, drawing, but she is most
famous for her tapestry (gobelin), batik and cheegrass masterpieces.
